Qi Jun said that in 2018, the total sales of China's construction machinery products increased by 25.5%. In the first quarter of 2019, the construction machinery market still performed well, with the total sales of major products increasing by 15.2%. According to statistics, in April 2019, the 25 excavator manufacturing companies included in the statistics sold a total of 7% year-on-year increase in sales of various types of excavators; the 22 loader manufacturers included in the statistics sold a total of 6.26% of all types of loaders. It is expected that the total sales of main products of construction machinery in 2019 will increase by about 10% on the basis of 2018.

In Qi Jun's view, the achievements of China's construction machinery industry are inseparable from the overall sound environment of China's economy. The Chinese government's reduction of value-added tax rates for manufacturing, construction, transportation and other industries will bring policy dividends and radiation effects to the manufacturing, construction and related industries, which will provide for the stable development of the construction machinery industry in 2019 and the next few years. Strong support.

The construction machinery industry is closely related to infrastructure engineering. Qi Jun believes that the Xiongan New Area is about to enter a large-scale substantive construction phase; China's fixed asset investment in roads, waterways, and railways will also increase significantly in 2019; China will further promote the implementation of a number of projects involving the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Infrastructure construction projects in the economic belt, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the central and western regions.
